THE GRYPHON, A FANTASY NOVEL
June 2019
My first published novel, The Gryphon, was published in 2019 by FriesenPress. I wrote this story over a period of five years, creating characters that were based on mythological creatures. Although I had written many online science fiction and fantasy stories, this was the story that began my journey into full publication.

"The Hermit Gryphon: The Redemption of Talona" is the sequel to "The Gryphon". It continues the story of the gryponic society, this time through the eyes of the last story's villain, the once-wicked queen, Talona.

Miaurra, a feline being of the highest order, is the lone ruler in a den shared with four unruly humans. Although they are supposed to be her servants, they often disrupt her quiet life in extremely annoying ways. They are impossible to discipline, but she has always tolerated their error-prone actions...until the day that they dare to bring the first unwelcome interloper into her den.
